Hi there! My name is Kristof and I own a Colombian women's fashion brand, Calma. I'm originally Hungarian but I don’t really have a place to call home. My life moves between Colombia, where our factory is based, NYC, Bali, and Sicily. Over the past 8 years, I’ve lived in the US, Amsterdam, Colombia, and Southeast Asia, constantly traveling, creating, building, and chasing the kind of freedom I always dreamed of.

It’s a fast-paced and hectic life, but one I’m incredibly grateful for. I’m addicted to traveling, discovering the world, and living freely. But somewhere along the way, I also realized how important it is to slow down sometimes, to escape the noise, recharge, and think. That’s why in 2024 I decided to buy a house in one of my favorite places on earth: Sicily.

Sicily is my escape from the world. It’s where time stops, or maybe where time simply doesn’t exist... Life here is slower, people are carefree, the sun always seems to shine, the food is incredible, the wine is unforgettable, and the beauty of the island is truly unmatched.

For 18 months (with longer and shorter breaks), my dad, grandpa, and I renovated the house together. We created two apartments and poured so much love into every detail. And now, it’s ready and is more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. 

I’m so happy to finally open its doors and share it with others, so more people can experience slow living and the true Sicilian lifestyle the way I fell in love with it myself.
